Upon arrival Mac was both accommodating and friendly and the instructions in his messages were exact as how to check in if you arrive late. The accommodations are just fine for anyone looking to stay out of the elements with a warm place (well insulated) to sleep and enough of a cushion on the bunks not to wake up with a bad back. We’ve stayed both in a tent in the summer and now in one of the tiny cabins. The simplest of amenities are appreciated if you want to warm something in the microwave or store anything indoors the small refrigerator as well as a toaster and coffee machine. Having a ba…
Great spot for van camping. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked and camp site was not crowded for our Yosemite trip. There’s a neighborhood dog that was adorable! The campground is part of a permanent neighborhood with folks who live in homes surrounding the campsite. If you’re looking for something private and secluded this may not be your spot; it was good experience for us!
Mac was super friendly and greeted our group when we first arrived and explained where everything was. Tips: Make sure to bring firewood and lanterns/flash lights. It gets really dark at night and there’s no lighting around the area. It’s a little tricky to find the site at night with maps, it had us go through a bunch of housing but it’s really just off the road.
Great experience, such a friendly host and a very comfortable area to stay in. 10/10!
