1. Who we are

glamping.directory is a directory and meta-search service for glamping, camping, RV, primitive, and unique outdoor stays in the United States. We are not a travel agent, booking platform, or online travel agency (OTA). We do not own, operate, or represent any property listed on this site.

2. What this site does — and doesn't

We index publicly-available information about outdoor stays from multiple sources, organize it into a searchable directory, and link out to operators' own websites or their preferred booking platforms. All transactions, reservations, payments, and stay-related communications occur directly between you and the operator.

We do not:

• Take or hold reservations
• Process payments for stays
• Guarantee prices, availability, photos, or amenities
• Verify operator-supplied claims unless explicitly noted
• Act as an agent for any operator

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• Verify all stay details (price, availability, amenities, policies) directly with the operator before booking
• Comply with the operator's own terms, conditions, and policies when you book or stay with them
• Use the site for lawful purposes only
• Not scrape, copy, or republish our index in bulk without written permission
• Not impersonate any person or operator when submitting reviews or claims

4. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to your use of glamping.directory is limited to $100 USD. We are not liable for losses arising from your interactions with operators, including but not limited to: cancellation costs, lost deposits, property damage, personal injury, dissatisfaction with your stay, or any consequential or indirect damages.

Outdoor recreation involves inherent risk. You assume all responsibility for assessing whether a stay is suitable for you, your group, and your circumstances.

5. Reviews and user-submitted content

User reviews are a planned feature. When the review platform launches, you must own or have permission to share any content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive license to display, distribute, and modify your review for the purpose of operating the directory. We may moderate, edit for length or clarity, or remove reviews at our discretion.

6. Operator claims

Property owners may claim listings via /claims. Verification is done by domain-email match (instant) or manual review (after payment). We reserve the right to deny or revoke claims if we cannot verify ownership.

7. Intellectual property

Site code, design, and editorial content are owned by us. Property listings include aggregated public information; original sources are credited where reasonably possible. Operator-uploaded photos remain the operator's property and are licensed to us for display purposes.

9. Arbitration and class-action waiver

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the site will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by JAMS in accordance with its Streamlined Arbitration Rules. You waive the right to participate in any class action against us.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.

11. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be announced on the home page or via email (where applicable) at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the site after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
