We are a directory and meta-search service for glamping, camping, RV, primitive, and unique outdoor stays across the United States. 23,302 properties indexed in 50 states so far, and we add more every week.
What we are.
- A directory of every outdoor stay we can verify exists.
- A meta-search engine that points you at operators, not at us.
- An editorial layer that surfaces what reviews and amenities actually say.
- An open-source-first SEO play — built on Astro, Cloudflare, Drizzle, and a long list of public APIs.
What we aren't.
- Not a booking engine. We never hold your money or your reservation.
- Not an OTA. Every link points back to the operator's own site.
- Not a travel agent. No commissions on the bookings themselves.
- Not a review platform. User reviews aren't open yet; when they are, we'll never claim "verified stayer" status we can't actually verify.
Where the data comes from.
Every listing here is sourced from public, verifiable signals. We scrape Google Maps via Outscraper, enrich with public web data through BrightData and Scrapling, and cross-reference WHOIS and domain-health data to flag dead listings. Reviews come from public Google reviews; we extract aspect-level signals (cleanliness, host, location, value, etc.) and surface what people actually say.
We do not publish content we couldn't defend in court. We do link back to original sources. If you spot bad data on a listing, every page has a "verify with operator" disclaimer that points to the operator's own site as the source of truth.
How we make money.
We don't, yet. The directory is free to use. When we monetize, the revenue model is operator-side: property owners pay a tier-based subscription to claim their listing, upload photos, customize their CTA, and respond to reviews. Visitors pay nothing, ever, and no listing is paid to be ranked higher in the directory. When we run featured placement (Premium tier), every spot will be visibly labeled.
We may earn a referral commission on outbound clicks to certain partner platforms (Hipcamp, Tentrr, KOA), and that disclosure is on /legal-affiliate-disclosure. We will never accept money to skew rankings, and that promise is in the editorial standards we publish.
