Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last updated: 2026-05-06
The short version
We don't sell your personal information. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. We don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising either. There's nothing for you to opt out of in that sense.
But you still have CCPA, CPRA, and similar US-state privacy rights. This page lays them out.
Categories of personal information we collect
- Identifiers: IP address (server logs, 30 days)
- Internet activity: page views, search queries (aggregate)
- Geolocation: coarse country-level only (from IP, for caching), never precise
- Account data (once accounts open): email + OAuth profile if you sign in
Sources
- Directly from you (when you contact us, sign in, submit a claim)
- Automatically from your browser (server logs, cookies — see /legal-cookies)
Purposes
- Operating the directory (security, abuse prevention, performance)
- Responding to your communications
- Operating the claim/review system (when it opens)
Third parties we share with
- Cloudflare (CDN, edge runtime)
- Resend (transactional email)
- Stripe (operator subscriptions only, once accounts open)
None of these are paid for the data; they are infrastructure providers we contract with to operate the service.
Your rights
You can request the following actions on data we hold about you:
- Right to know what we collect and how we use it (this page is the standing answer; for specifics, submit a request)
- Right to delete data we hold about you
- Right to correct inaccurate data
- Right to opt out of sale (we don't sell — but you can confirm in writing)
- Right to opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising (we don't share — but you can confirm in writing)
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information (we don't process sensitive PI)
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights
How to submit a request
Email privacy@glamping.directory with:
- What you'd like us to do (access, delete, correct, etc.)
- The email address you've used with us, if any
- For verification: confirm a piece of information we'd reasonably know about you (recent search query, account creation date, etc.)
We respond within 45 days. If we can't verify your identity, we'll let you know what additional information we need.
Authorized agent
You can have a designated agent (like a privacy service) submit a request on your behalf. We'll require written authorization signed by you, and may verify your identity directly before fulfilling the request.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor GPC. If your browser sends the GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out automatically — no banner or form needed.
