How to report infringement

If you believe content on glamping.directory infringes your copyright, send our designated agent a written notice that includes:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list)
  2. Identification of the allegedly infringing material with sufficient specificity that we can locate it (URL is best)
  3. Your contact information (name, email, phone)
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

Send it to dmca@glamping.directory. Incomplete notices may be rejected; we will respond and let you know what's missing.

What happens next

  1. We acknowledge receipt within 3 business days.
  2. If the notice meets the DMCA requirements, we remove or disable access to the material expeditiously.
  3. We notify the user who submitted the material (if applicable) and provide a copy of the notice.
  4. We keep a record of the notice and our response.

Counter-notification

If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice. The counter-notice must include:

  1. Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
  3. Your name, address, and phone number
  4. Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court where you reside (or, if outside the US, where we operate)
  5. A statement that you will accept service of process from the original notifier
  6. Your physical or electronic signature

Send counter-notices to dmca@glamping.directory. We will forward the counter-notice to the original notifier; if they don't file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the material.

Repeat-infringer policy

Accounts of users who repeatedly post infringing material will be terminated. (Account features launch when reviews open; this policy will be enforced from day one of that launch.)

Misrepresentations

Submitting a knowingly false DMCA notice or counter-notice is a violation of federal law (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)) and may result in liability. Don't do it.
