Last updated: 2026-05-06
Designated agent
Per the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), we have designated an agent to receive notifications of claimed copyright infringement:
DMCA Designated Agent
glamping.directory
Email: dmca@glamping.directory
Postal address available upon written request to the email above.
The agent's information is also filed with the U.S. Copyright Office. [Filing reference: pending — to be added before launch.]
How to report infringement
If you believe content on glamping.directory infringes your copyright, send our designated agent a written notice that includes:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list)
- Identification of the allegedly infringing material with sufficient specificity that we can locate it (URL is best)
- Your contact information (name, email, phone)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
Send it to dmca@glamping.directory. Incomplete notices may be rejected; we will respond and let you know what's missing.
What happens next
- We acknowledge receipt within 3 business days.
- If the notice meets the DMCA requirements, we remove or disable access to the material expeditiously.
- We notify the user who submitted the material (if applicable) and provide a copy of the notice.
- We keep a record of the notice and our response.
Counter-notification
If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice. The counter-notice must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and phone number
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court where you reside (or, if outside the US, where we operate)
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the original notifier
- Your physical or electronic signature
Send counter-notices to dmca@glamping.directory. We will forward the counter-notice to the original notifier; if they don't file a court action within 10 business days, we may restore the material.
Repeat-infringer policy
Accounts of users who repeatedly post infringing material will be terminated. (Account features launch when reviews open; this policy will be enforced from day one of that launch.)
Misrepresentations
Submitting a knowingly false DMCA notice or counter-notice is a violation of federal law (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)) and may result in liability. Don't do it.
