The weather got wild. I didn't go. Looking forward to visiting when tornados are not on the menu 😂
Easy to find. Incredibly nice host. Showed the layout of the site in an atv. Campsites spaced out over a large area. Multiple fishing ponds. Very peaceful and scenic.
This place is precious. Three separate ponds for swimming, and kayak and canoes are provided also! Fishing is a plus and they keep the ponds stocked! Great long gravel road with fields and views to walk from the sites to the ponds and community kitchen they provide. They also have the firewood for you! And WiFi. Woodybooke is truly a great place to camp. I would highly recommend camping here. Th we ponds are full of fish and the little creek is beautiful.
One of the NICEST spaces we have ever stayed - and we travel all over!!! Theresa was so amazing and had the best local recommendations, we even visited some of them before we left the area. We were so close to booking an additional night just because the place was AWESOME! Safe, quiet and a lake to fish in - couldn’t ask for a more perfect (not planned) evening!! Thank you so very much!!
