We are in the very early stages of developing Woods by the Sea Ashram. Situated on a little over 2 acres of redwood forest including a year-round creek we have been slowly developing gardens and other facilities for those seeking refuge from the chaos of modern life. We are committed to supporting the recognition of one's true nature. If you are interested in treatment while you are here, please let us know and it can be arranged. My speciality is trauma release and the husband is an ayurvedic practitioner.

I loved absolutely everything about this little gem in the woods! Nicole’s exceptional communication and very well detailed directions were a perfect start to my solo retreat. Came up with my little dog and enjoyed exploring the beautiful beaches, forests, and trails in the area. Ideally located with easy access to anywhere you’d want to go but I enjoyed just hanging out in the cabin most of the weekend. The outdoor shower was a delightful bonus and I felt both perfectly isolated and safe the entire time. Nicole was a perfect host and was kind enough to offer to interrupt her children’s danc…
Loved the cabin! The property is beautiful under the redwoods and close to Mendocino and plenty of things to do. Would highly recommend and would go back!
This little gem was actually the perfect getaway for us including my 2 dogs. The cellular reception was abysmal and the WiFi was spotty which was exactly what we needed. The cabin is tucked into the woods on the same property as the owners but still felt secluded. Based off other reviews, I anticipated that we needed to bring our own cooking gear as we didn’t want to frequently leave the property. Towels, shampoo/conditioner was provided. The cabin was clean inside and the outdoor shower was so refreshing and magical.
Perfect cabin for a weekend adventure! Stayed here and went on a wonderful bike ride in the area. Got great tips from the hosts on where to go nearby and best route for our bike ride. Cabin was very cozy and the outdoor shower was super fun.
