We enjoyed off-season camping here. While no services or staff were available, the registration process was workable, the campground quiet, the hiking great (I hiked a lot), and proximity to town is handy.
We were so blessed to find this place. We love to winter camp and this place was nice. Very clean and easy to reserve spot.
Simply though thoroughly let down this time around... as they market like there are "off season sites" available. Get there and everything, I mean every area/site is closed. Just say you're closed already!! 😤
We stayed for 6 nights. Clean. Pet friendly. Quiet. Off season rates are good. Easy check in. Had electric and water. Has a dump station. Has a picnic table and fire pit at every site. Will stay again if we are the area again. Close to LLBean, restaurants and outlet stores. About 2.5 - 3 mile drive. Also, grocery store about 6 mile drive.
