Wolf Creek Backcountry's Pass Creek Yurt

We loved Pass Creek Yurt! My husband and I were celebrating my 70th birthday. We wanted a place of peace and quiet away from people. This was perfect! The yurt is well furnished with beds and pillows, propane stove which heats up water very quickly, and the kitchen was equipped with more pans, dishes and utensils than some vacation rentals we've stayed in. It was clean and tidy. There are books, games and puzzles. It was rustic (we had to filter our water, and it has an outhouse) and comfortable all at the same time. We highly recommend it!

Pass Creek Yurt was the perfect winter getaway for a backcountry ski trip. The snow was phenomenal—deep, light, and well-preserved on the north-facing, low-angle trees, making for excellent laps right from the yurt. It’s an ideal spot for those looking to enjoy safe, fun turns without needing to venture far. The yurt itself is impressively spacious, making it easy to spread out and organize gear without feeling cramped. It’s also well-stocked with high-quality essentials—plenty of firewood, a solid stove, and a well-equipped kitchen setup that made cooking after a long day in the snow easy.
