Loved the place great water slide

Cancelled my reservation for this year 2026 and according to Winding River Campground they do not refund deposits under $100.00 for someone who has/was been going here for 35 years I find it very discouraging that the NEW OWNERS would not issue a refund with five months notice of cancellation. Is this how they treat returning "Guests" or am I just the luck one not to get a refund? .....crickets

DO NOT CAMP HERE! They scam you out of money. We booked a 4th of July camping in early October. Unfortunately we had to cancel due to my daughter's travel softball schedule. When I tried canceling and I asked what amount in total would I not get in return they told me 120, the $100 non refundable fee and $20 booking fees. I feel in general the $100 is a ridiculous amount to hold against someone especially so far im advance of canceling. After 6 business days my refund wasnt showing pending till I reached out to them again. Then the fee was pending but was $30 short. When I asked about this sin…
