Great location for Carlsbad caverns. Bathroom was rustic and in need of hooks to hang items. Staff was friendly.
Ok stay in one of the 10 newer rv sites right along the two lane Road that goes out to Carlsbad Caverns. Road noise wasn't a problem yet I can imagine that would be different in the busy summer season. Sites are tight.
Location is good but place is a dump. Only have one single bathroom/shower stall for 30 or so camp sites so often impossible waiting times. When I eventually got into shower it was filthy and run down with cockroaches. There is another rv place nearby that looks much better.
Very disappointing. We had an rv site reserved for two nights. When we arrived they told us just to stay in one of the spots in the parking lot. Exactly what it sounds like...they have a handful of spots lined up at the end of their parking lot. I pushed back and asked if we could stay in the rv sites down the hill and she said no, those are reserved for the "long term customers" but she could put us in a small dirt lot just off the parking lot. We were disappointed with our campsite. It was just a big parking lot with hookups. And the parking lot was up against the main road. It didn’t feel very safe for myself and 3 kids. And the bathroom facilities were nearly a 1/4 mile away. They also never told me when check out was, so that was confusing. It is conveniently located VERY close to the caverns, but not much else to say about it.
