Whispering Elms Motel & RV Park

The location is only two turns away from the national park. The rooms are renovated. The area is extremely quiet. There’s very few food options and they have two of them there. The hosts are absolutely lovely and will help out in any way possible. I would come back and stay here anytime. They serve alcohol from 4-8pm. You will get a chance to meet the locals. Everyone was absolutely lovely.

The room was cute—when we couldn’t find thermometer for heat we called woman that cleans rooms. She said she’d be by to help us but never showed up, never called back— pretty bad service

We checked in RV park online for 2 nights. We have a camper van and an extra non-camping vehicle. We had online approval for the 2 vehicles. We paid online though when I went in he said we had to pay so I did. The charges are now pending on 2 cards. So he basically tried to male us pay twice. Then the manager came outside and said you can’t park two vehicles there. I said okay we will just stay one night. I have paid for two so that will cover two vehicles for one night. He then started screaming that we could leave or he would call the police. The crazy man went ballistic standing right over …

The management at this business is extremely rude and unprofessional. We are traveling in a camper van and an extra vehicle (not a camping vehicle). After paying management refused to let us have two vehicles at the camp site and threatened to call the police. Though 2 vehicles were approved on our online reservation. They also refused to refund our money though I will contact my credit card company as we received no service and will not pay for something we didn’t receive. Stay anywhere but this place!! It is a shady business and the office was rundown and decrepit.
