We had a wonderful stay at W. P. Franklin Campground! The campground is very clean, peaceful, and well maintained. The sites are spacious and right along the beautiful Caloosahatchee River, which makes it perfect for relaxing, fishing, and enjoying nature. One of our favorite things was watching the boats go through the lock and seeing wildlife all around. The fishing nearby was great, and it’s a perfect location whether you’re camping for a quiet getaway or spending time with family. The staff and park rangers were friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms and facilities were kept very clean.…

Our 1st visit to this campground, and it's a good one ! Plenty of parking space, clean bathrooms and showers, only a couple miles from a Kroger store and gas station. Adjacent to the Calusohatchi River lock and plenty of places to wet a line! Reservations are required, and 6 months in advance, unless you can catch a cancelation that matches your schedule.

I informed him it was a street legal LSV which is registered and insured and if he would've spent 2 seconds of his time he would've seen the license plate on the rear. There are 2 camper only parking spots near boat ramp but apparently that only applies during the week. Saturday morning a host came to my camper and told me we had to move vehicle from…
