Walnut Grove RV Park

Needs more spaces. But great experience and location. Price is bit high. But you get everything you need here.

We were pleasantly surprised to find nice clean park in the city, well kept sites, excellent service and great trees. A young guy helped us get backed in and had patience with me beyond his years. Way more patience than I have for sure. Everyone we interacted with was genuinely nice. You forget that you're in the city. We will be back on a regular basis. We were stressed at the end because we had a lot to get done in town before we checked out. They were very understanding and let us stay late for a small fee which was a big stress reliever.

Friendly and helpful people. Convenient location close to KC. Stayed there previously and will stay again.

I had a great experience staying here for one night during a road trip. The bathrooms and overall infrastructure were excellent. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and having laundry available was a big plus for us. Access is controlled by card or code, which also made it feel safe and organized. We arrived very late at night and the check-in was seamless. They left the card and clear instructions at the office, so everything worked perfectly even arriving that late. Walnut Grove is easy to find and easy to access. It is an older RV site but has all the amenities that one could want or think of. The bathrooms are well cleaned and stocked with hand-held shower heads, benches, hooks, hair dryers, soap, paper towels and the laundry room has several washers and dryers. Our pull-thru spot was flat and was easy to access. If we ever go to Kansas City again, we will be sure to use Walnut Grove.
