Walker River Resort

Some people visit their cabin. We take ours to the campground. Spent Thursday to Monday this time. Nice quiet visit this time of year. Can't wait to take the cabin back.

We recently stayed in cabin one. The view of the river and the meadow were great. Everything was clean and comfortable and had what we needed. We brought our ATVs and had some nice rides, nice family time. Great place for a get away, very peaceful and welcoming.

Excellent place to camp! Great facilities and amazing staff. Lots of activities on site and draws a great crowd of people. We are going to make this place are go to for weekend trips.

We've been coming here for many years now and will be coming back again for many more! If you are an off-road adventurer, this is the place to be! There are literally thousands of acres to explore right outside the campground! (You can even ride from here to Virginia City or Bodie. It's a long trip but well worth the experience.) If you have a SXS, ATV, off-road motorcycle, or any off-road vehicle, there is so much to explore. From ghost towns, to mines, to desert trails, to mountain trails; the BLM land around here is amazing. The resort is well kept and has some great amenities to enjoy afte…

This place is immaculate. Amazing views and just the right amount of seclusion. We visited the first weekend they opened for the season (unknowingly) and it was great. We had a lower section to ourselves (we have a travel trailer). Every person we encountered was friendly and helpful. The cabins looked neat and had crazy cool views with back patios. My favorite part was the 2 resident ducks that live in their pond area. They would come up to greet you as you walked by- adorable. We will 100 percent recommend to anyone traveling in the area. We live close…so we’ll be back too!
