Walkabout Camp & RV Park

It's a hard pass for me! While I cannot speak to the campground itself, my initial contact with the staff member was so off putting I decided to look elsewhere. First of all, I was made to wait for more than ten minutes while I had to stand there and listen to the staff member being quite abrasive in a phone conversation. So, just based on that alone, I was already bracing myself. And she did not disappoint as she effortlessly continued her sour disposition with me lol!

Very well kept and clean campground! A lot of amenities and everyone was so friendly. Loved seeing all the chickens running around! When we are back in this area we will definitely stay here again!

A great location in Georgia. Peaceful, quiet, generous size lots, good Services. Just off I-95 -easy and easy out,full hook ups, pull through. The owners have made great efforts to make the experience as Visitor-friendly as possible. And I haven’t mentioned yet the petting zoo. My first ever experience to interact with goats and chickens. They were lovely hand feeding them, petting them beautiful creatures. The chickens are allowed to roam freely, which is quite a treat. This is a must stop Gemfor anyone traveling north and south.

Awesome campground that I highly recommend. Outstanding owners and recreational activities, close to town but private. Food trucks, music monthly as well as pool and petting zoo. Golf activities on site as well!

Easy access from I-95 and very nice pull through campsites. Very nice restrooms and showers too. The pool is great on a hot day. We like to stop here on our trips to or from Florida. The old pool is being replaced by an entertainment space and a new, much more stylish pool is being built.The new pool is fabulous!
