Our favorite stop in the road to Hana
Nice views, Beach not crowded
Beautiful state park! I love the Pilani trail and we got to see sea turtles by doing this walk. The beach is nice and unique but very crowded (understandably so. We just got better luck at other beaches not being so loud and crowded). We stayed overnight in a camper van. If you are camping, expect this to be a busier campground, however, the park closes to outside visitors at 6 PM so you can enjoy a quiet dinner! The park does open up fairly early so it may get busier again in the mornings. Plus side to camping here: showers!!
