The location of this place is great. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. There was a group of us 20+ tent camping. We made reservations well in advance. The area they provided for us to set up out tents had fire ant piles galore. We did complain and they came to spread powder but I feel this should of been taken care of before we arrived. The bathrooms and showers were very clean. The pool nice but the area surrounding the pool needs some power washing due to large amounts of bird poop.
49 per night for primitive tent camping. Has a pool thou. Too much for me thou.
My husband and I have had the honor to be workampers at Vero Beach Kamp. The campground is at a great location. It is beautiful and quiet. It is not just a campground, but a community full of wonderful people. Special shout out to Darlene who "works her magic" everyday and does an amazing job! Thank you VBK!
We saw website promising grassy sites (nope), concrete pads (nope again), and 30/50 amp service (third no and they knew we were a dual ac 28 footer). We parked (and sank) in the thick sand - first time we were informed of 30 amp service on 80+ degree days. We got THE worst site in entire campground, yet paid for more amenities. Saw trash pile behind our trailer by about 10’. On driver’s side we had telephone poles, pipes, excavators, trailers, and trucks.
