Great little drive for scenic views and if you wanna take a side trip for out of the norm. Fee is just 15 bucks for non-residents and 10 for locals per car.
Spectacular. Exceptionally hot. The heat of the rocks exceeded the ambient temperature and cooked me. I ended up needing some good sleep and Vitamin C to recover over the following days but it was an incredible adventure. If I were to go again, I'd aim for early morning before the afternoon swelter. We hiked White Domes Loop, then Fire Wave and Seven Wonders. It truly is a desert hike and an otherworldly experience.
We rented a convertible from Vegas & drove through the park. Beautiful day, beautiful views. Wish we had more time venture around, but what we did see was fantastic.
Out of this world! Go early because it can get hot. My dog loved it!
