Great place to camp. Quite atmosphere, plenty of parking for boat, truck, and car. Firewood available here and a place right up the road for a better deal. Showers are clean hot water.
For a campground this one is one of my favorites. We weren't able to get our normal site because of flooding but we got moved to one that was a good alternative. I've stayed here a few times and each time was great. The views are always beautiful. This year, no flooding. Everything is great and we had a wonderful time. The views of the area are stunning.
We stayed here for a week in Loop H site 20. We have a 42ft 5th wheel 4 kids 1 big dog. The site is very big and can fit any rig. There is however an island on the other side of the little road across from the sites entry. If you’re big like us you with have to do some back and forths to get into the site. There are plenty of others that will fit big rigs we picked this one specifically for the ease of having a water spigot at that particular site. The bathhouses are also right behind which is nice. The hosts keep them clean. We enjoyed our time here.
