The float itself was great peaceful, scenic, and a good time overall. But I’m not sure I can give Twin Bridges a full five stars anymore since tube rentals are no longer available. For a lot of rural folks, finding a flat patch of ground to pitch a tent isn’t hard the convenience came from being able to show up, rent a tube, and float. It’s a shame when insurance and corporate policy changes ruin the simple joys like this. Hopefully a new insurance provider is found soon.
Unkempt campgrounds looks shabby. Water access was not easy at the camp grounds and the water was very warm.
This place is closed. Phone number and website are both out of service. They were the only float place that did the upper northfork. I was disappointed not to be able to float it when we came all the way down here and hit the water level just right. We went to Pettit and they took good care of us.
