Treetop Escapes

Wr stayed in Summer Breeze for 4 nights. A lot of reviews mentioned lady bugs, which didnt bother us. We did however not enjoy the stink bugs and wasps. I dont believe this place is equipped well for cold weather. We arrived in 70 degree weather, but the whole time we were here it was 30 and snowing. Obviously, not their fault at all, but if the windows had any coverings it may have helped block out the cold. Even with all 3 heaters on and fireplace, it didnt feel warm enough, possibly due to windows or the gap that was between the sliding glass door and wall. We still enjoyed our stay a…

We stayed in the Evergreen. The views were slightly obstructed due to the taller trees out front. Come spring/summer I can't imagine you'd be able to see anything through them. The good: The home was well stocked with basic necessities such as dishes and cutlery. It was well decorated. It is located close to all the sights while far enough to not feel crowded. The washer/dryer came in handy. It was nice to find a first aid kit was available after receiving a bug bite from a stink bug in the middle of the night. The property was beautiful. We stayed at the live oak treehouse. Everything was in pristine condition and very comfortable. The low review is for two reasons. The road is steep and the gravel parking spot was impossible AND someone walked into our cabin while we were alseep. VRBO admitted the error that they gave the access code to someone who was booked two days after! I don’t know why they showed up two days early at 11:30pm! I asked if the code could be changed and they said maintenance would have to come. Wondering if the code ever gets changed not a restful sleep knowing this.
