We stayed at site 57 in the campground with full hookups. Great view of the lake, and super quiet! The air smells heavenly in mid-April: a bit of pine and something sweet and floral. They have nice firepits with a natural rock perimeter.
My only Mississippi State park on my visit and I thought I picked the best. The trail was alright with the bridge. Basically a short jaunt in the woods. Graffiti by the waterfall which was just a trickle. Not really anything noteworthy to see. Just looked abandoned to me :/
Beautiful scenery! Lots of little streams and creeks and even a small waterfall. The park could use some cleaning though. I did notice quite a bit of trash spread about and spray painting on the beautiful boulders.
