The Retreat at Cannon Beach

Have stayed here multiple times over the years, such a beautiful campground. Management has changed and the prices have doubled, very disappointed as this has been my go to spot. 😞 was very sad when i went to book a site.

Do NOT stay at Cannon Beach Retreat, especially if you are sleeping in your vehicle. We were parked at campsite #15 and sleeping in our Tesla when, at around 12:15 a.m., we were woken up by persistent tapping on the car. It quickly became clear this was not random, someone was actively trying to get into our vehicle. A man was circling the car, peering inside, and repeatedly trying the door handles. This place will continue to charge your card without authorization. What a joke of a campsite, price and attitude continues to make camping inaccessible near cannon beach.

This beautiful RV resort is priced right. Yes, a wee bit higher than most RV spots but it’s a beautiful setting with an easy/short walk to the beach and an easy/short walk to town. Very clean bathrooms, public dish washing station, showers … It has It all. Included is a management team that is friendly, VERY helpful, generous and kind. I needed and asked for some help with learning my new RV (set up of class c / 24 ft) and Jeanette was so generous and had so so so many tips and advice on ‘how to’. She was HAPPY TO HELP me out. This is a great camp ground!

The people are great and the wild life is awesome too
