Very well maintained RV park. Site are small, but level with nice side pads. Very lit shade.
I was about to leave The Palms a five-star review — and I still will!! — I was appalled by a review I saw that clearly came from the same people who ruined my weekend. I am a regular at The Palms and I love coming there. I have never seen children so out of control. They all appeared to be from one trailer, and there was a company truck parked there with the name Moove Safe Garage Doors on it. The kids were sweet and well dressed, but completely unmanaged. Fairly quiet. 5 minutes from Gainesville airport. Friendly people. Close to everything Gainesville. 8 minutes from 2 Walmarts.
Stayed at Santa Fe Palms RV Resort. Looks nice, but not kid-friendly at all. First night we’re setting up around 8:45 and some guy (staff/manager?) comes out complaining our kids are “too loud” and says quiet time is 9… which isn’t even true — their site says 11. After that it was constant. Chalk? Not allowed. Scooters? Problem. Kids using the ping pong table? They folded it up the second they walked away.
