The Holly Campground

Do not waste your money .This place is trash .the full hookup was overflowing when we arrived and this place refused to refund the money for the full hookup and we couldn't even drain at our site we had to get in line with everyone else but we paid extra. There is waste all over at the drain area . I am so upset that I paid so much for this place and all you see running the place is teens no adult anywhere. Cabins were cool definitely need a little TLC on the foundation blocks. But gave this old cool feel. I liked the campground but it was lacking something. Checking in. Definitely need to improve on signs for checking in. Park here and check in instead of a rig blocking the gate. It’s cool staff opened the gate to get everyone in faster. Oh side note definitely need to do a little bit on ash removal in the cabin fire pits. Ash to the top fire, fall, leaves wood cabin so we had to make sure nothing bad happened there. Two things good about this place. The showers are hot (which over the years i did not find them to be hot and the location is nice to the freeway. Other then that my many years of coming here has come to an end. Over flowing garbage dumpsters when there is only a couple people here and the food from the garbage smells like it has been there for a long time. The spot I got was very uneven. The water from the spigot was come and go. At times it would be good other times it would go out. There is a few long time residents here I suppose and they judge you heavily. I’ve stayed here twice now and although the first time was a great experience the second was unfortunately not and sadly I don’t think we’ll be back because of it. Rules don’t seem to be enforced at this campground. I went on a family trip and both nights was kept up and woken up multiple times by inconsiderate and loud partying neighbors. Even after alerting staff the noise went on until after 3 am. Both nights we were there this was an issue. Loud music, car alarms going off (at 3:30 am) and screaming fights. At check out I brought this up and no apologies just was told that it was noted. N…
