Nice place. Comfy swimming area with sand, clear campgrounds with fire rings, good shooting range. Prices are now $40 for range time with a lunch break at noon
These are the rudest people I have ever met. The price for the shooting range is insane. I'm a local, stop coming here 10 years ago because it was an chitty range and the people who work there suck. It's worse now. They thrive on taking advantage of out off towners. The locals don't go here. The range master was cool
Had a blast at the Cove while attending the Big Dogs family Off-road Ice breakers event as a group. We had a dozen jeeps and had a blast on the trails as well as in the campground. Sites are plenty big for gathering of a group.
The Cove offered a great experience for my daughter and her first camping trip. We stayed by one of the lakes and spent two days straight fishing and exploring the grounds. The staff was friendly and more than welcoming. We will be making this a yearly event.
