This glamping property boasts a spring-fed swimming pond situated on forty acres of rolling prairie, forest and wetland, surrounded by one hundred acres of Washtenaw County Nature Preserve. A total of six off-grid sleeping cabins dot the landscape, all within a short walk to our Common House, which includes a large gathering space, community kitchen/dining and bathrooms/shower. This property offers Yoga and Meditation classes and weekend retreats year-round. The Lower Bungalow is a 3-season canvas cabin and houses 2 twin mattresses, and an optional extra pull-out twin. Open seasonally (May-Oct), this cozy space has screened-in windows/doors on all four sides for the maximal amount of airflow, and minimum amount of mosquitos! This non-insulated mini-cabin is located down the hill from The Upper Bungalow, super close to the pond. This cabin includes access to all hiking trails, a swimmable pond, and a shared modern kitchen. NOTE! A solar-powered compostable toilet and indoor kitchen/bathroom facility with WIFI is located within 5-10 minutes walking distance. Locally sourced and made pre-packaged meals, meditation and yoga classes, and more available for booking separately on our website. OFF-GRID/NO ELECTRICITY: all cabins are off-grid and do not have electrical outlets, kitchen, toilet or running water in them, but Elemental Cabins do have solar lighting, heat and are fully furnished for a luxury "glamping" experience". The Common house has a modern kitchen, bathroom, shower, heat, AC, Wifi and electricity. If you'd like to have a fire, check with us to see if we have wood for campfires before arriving.
