CBV was the absolute worst value experience of a 3 week trip throughout the west. The internet photos misrepresented the truth as the "Cabin" we were assigned was built in the 20's, with minimal anything - especially the 40 year old space heater...and all for the ridiculous price of over $325 for one night!!! Amazing 2 nights spent at Colter Bay Campground whilst on a USA roadtrip in my 4x4 Jeep Tentbox. Great spot (E111) literally 200 yards from Jackson Lake which was truly stunning & jaw dropping sat with a beer watching the sunset. Fantastic insite facilities, great place to grab a full hearty breakfast in the morning too.|I spent a days hiking out to Hermitage Point (12 miles/5hrs) solo through bear country & it was without doubt one of the highlights of my trip. We love Colter Bay and have stayed previously in the campground. This was our first time staying in the cabins. You must understand these are historic, rustic cabins. They are a chance to experience a true log cabin. And most importantly, you are sleeping inside the national park in an area of incredible beauty with fun amenities. Yes, the cabins get hot and there are some bugs that get in, but just enjoy it. I did feel they had room for two large beds instead of a double and a twin.

Colter Bay Village is located on the northeast side of Jackson Lake. It is a developed area of Grand Teton National Park built in the 1950s to promote tourism. There are a host of activities including Canoeing, horse riding and kayaking with log cabins and a general store. The area is popular for summer camps.
