A bit chilly for early May. Still piles of snow around the sites
The Tahquamenon Falls State Park was one of those places that impress you from the very first moment. The sound of the water and the power of the waterfalls make everything else fade into the background. I liked exploring it at a slow pace, stopping at viewpoints and enjoying each perspective. As a family, it feels like a small adventure, with trails, nature, and that sense of being in a truly special environment.
It was still too early in the year to walk the trails. End of April and there was still 2 ft of snow on the trails.
It's going on the 3rd season with limited access to the falls. I think it's time for some job changes as Park management is failing at it mission to Michigan.
