One of the best state parks around lots of hiking trails, fishing, swimming, and lots of activities for this kids clean camp ground with lots of space to let the kids run free

We recently stayed at Table Rock State Park Campground and had a pretty mixed experience. We booked a site listed for campers up to 30 feet, and our 29-foot camper technically fit just fine. However, the listing described the slope as “moderate,” which was very misleading. The site was closer to a 45-degree downslope, making it essentially impossible to level our camper. It wasn’t just slightly off—both front-to-back and side-to-side leveling were major issues. Realistically, the only way to make it work would have been to dig out the ground. Very friendly Park Staff and Rangers! It was obvious how helpful they meant to be and gave an effort to be as accommodating as possible. We stayed at lot 4 for three nights. Although the spaces are fairly close together, the evenings and nights were very quiet. Even on the day there was ultra marathon races through the camp area, the night prior was quiet and everyone was very respectful to each other the next morning. No issues with water, electricity, or dump stations (they have two).

So much fun! We had such a great trip!

Clean and quiet campground. We loved it. Saw thousands of stars. Clean bathrooms with hot water. It was electric sites with fire pit and picnic table.
