What a beautiful park. Have bathroom kept up. I want to see if I can camp there soon. Once the gas prices come down it's almost $5.00 a gallon
Susquehanna State Park is a great spot for outdoor fun. It's right along the river, so people go fishing, boating, and it's really popular for mountain biking. There are also hiking trails, a campground, and a restored historic area with a gristmill. Trails cover 15 miles, and like I mentioned, they're favored by mountain bikers, but also great for hikers too. And if you're interested in history, the grist mill I mentioned is part of the Rock Run Historic Area, and you can also see the Carter Archer Mansion and the remnants of an old canal. Beautiful and lush. One of the ladies who own a shop in Havre De Grace told my husband and I about it. So very pretty.
