Susitna River Lodging

Have stayed here twice and absolutely lovecit. Staff is friendly, location is great, and the views are breathtaking.

This is literally on the river with great views of the mountains. SUPER clean space with tons of stuff to use in the kitchen. Lovely trees outside and a BBQ grill to use if you want. Walking distance to a lovely whimsical castle themed park. Service was extremely welcoming and easy to deal with. I can NOT wait to go back.

The cabin’s are so cool, plenty of room and yet cozy. We stayed here for a snow mobiling trip and there was ample parking for truck and trailer. The Main lodge lobby was open 24 hrs with coffee and snacks. The whole place was very clean and peaceful ! I would definitely stay here again!

Just stayed one night and cannot wait to come back again. Right from the start, we were made to feel welcome and invited. One of our friends casually mentioned we were taking the train to Talkeetna and an employee of the lodge came over to the train station to pick us up! Who does that….well, that sealed the deal for me. The lodge is clean, well stocked, cozy and warm. The honor code for snacks and drinks is wonderful. Great coffee selection too! Large family room made it very enjoyable with our group of eight. Can only imagine how beautiful the views would be in the fall. It’s -3…
