Sunrise Farm

This property and set-up was beautiful and the perfect way to experience the mountains and river! Marcia was so welcoming and hospitable. Can’t recommend this place enough

I just enjoyed a weekend stay in the culture cabin and had the lovliest time. Sunrise Farm is breathtaking with everything blooming right now and the cabin was the perfect place to stay since it still gets chilly at night in the spring. The loft was super cozy and I loved the cooking area inside. I found that the lower level kept nice and cool which was a good escape from the heat, though there's also a beautiful river nearby that has plenty of swimming spots as well. Loved my stay here the host was super nice welcoming! This property is located at the top of a hill which lends itself to gorgeous views, but also can make for a little bit of a challenging drive up as the road isn't paved, and steep/bumpy in some areas. That being said I made it up in a Camry so it's still totally doable! At the base of the property is one of the best swimming holes IMO and they also have a private swimming hole about a 20-minute hike down to the water from their property. I took my 11 year-old son to stay at Culture Cabin at Sunrise Farms. What an amazing spot this is! An incredible growing space highlighted the property with mulberries, raspberries, blueberries, figs, apples, tomatoes, herbs, and a ton of other things. An eclectic variety of dragonflies were a welcome surprise - many I had never seen before. Very friendly cats and a large very sweet dog, Yuba, made us feel welcomed. And Marcia, the host, is one of the most gracious hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. She took such good care of us with very useful recommendations on a local market and …

This place was amazing. A place to reconnect with the things that matter in life. Marcia was a wonderful host and we made the most epic breakfast with the wonderful hand picked vegetables from her garden. It was a really good time close to the river and amazing sunrise sunsets and stars. Would recommend to anyone just wanting to get away for a bit. Thank you again Marcia till we meet again
