Very cool to see at Christmas time
Summersville Lake Retreat & Lighthouse was so amazingly beautiful in late April 2026. We stayed in our 5th wheel home for 2 nights and were first greeted by Bill at the gate who got our paperwork and explained how to get in/out of the security gate. Then an easy drive to our spot #32. Gravel but fairly level spot. 100% hookups and even a trash can to deposit all of our trash next to the rig. We purchased a bundle of firewood from Bill, and he delivered it to the campfire pit for us. That bundle was 2 full nights of having a nice warm fire. The park is very clean and you can even purchase a tok…
It's only our second day here and we love it. Very quiet campground with great views. All the associates were very helpful with finding our spot and making sure we would fit and were happy with our site. We had #5 pull thru site which had chairs picnic table, fire rings and a small deck. It had a gorgeous view. You can tell the owners take pride in their campground. We love it here so far and would definitely come back.
This is the third time that we have stayed at Summersville Lake Retreat as we use it as a stopping point on our way to Myrtle Beach. The campground has a great view, is easily accessible from Rt 19, clean, well run and the staff is very friendly. I would recommend this campground to anyone, short or long stays.
