We camped on loop M and it was awesome. Great spot to spend 5 days.
The location of this campground is beautiful, but you have to pay $20 to get to the campground inside the park. I feel like if you have a campground reservation, you shouldn't have to pay that. But I wouldn't have left a bad review for that alone. The front area that they are working on looks lovely. But the most important thing, the sites...many are in bad shape. So is the road that goes back to them. Potholes so large you're afraid to damage a tire on your rig if you hit them. We picked a pull through spot towards the back, quick in & out as we were only staying two nights. Parking was anyt…
I didn’t pick the most level site, but the view was spectacular. I’ve never thought I could be so close to home but feel like I’m in an amazing forest with trees, a beautiful lake - my first time in a larger sized tent, I did not want to go home at the end for sure. Was home for one week and already booking next stay, highly recommend 10/10.
