Absolutely stunning. The desert-vegetation companies the lake and rocky backdrop makes the most beautiful scenery in our road trip. We visited in the end of April and the weather is perfect, but I can imagine it will be really hot in summer. Bring sun protection as there is little to no shade in the park.
It’s a cozy place, though it can often be quite windy. It’s a great spot for a family getaway and spending time with kids. There are clean restrooms available, always well maintained and stocked with everything you might need. There are also hot and cold showers, which is a big plus. In addition, there is a fish cleaning station for convenience. The views are absolutely beautiful all day long, especially at sunrise and sunset. At night, the starry sky is truly breathtaking — something you simply can’t experience in the city. I highly recommend this place! However, it’s very difficult to boo…
