Beautiful shaded campground right along the Logan River. Great mix of trees, mountain views, and easy access to trails like the Crimson Trail. Campsites are well-spaced and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing stay close to Logan. Vault toilets and water are available, though facilities could use a little updating. Overall, a clean, scenic spot I’d definitely visit again.
Group site B needs major renovation. Looks rundown and is unable to hold more than 3 tents comfortably. If more than 3 tents, people will be sleeping on a hill with tall, dead weeds and rocks. It has the potential to accommodate 9 tents. No shade at the tables, needs to be a pavillion. Needs to have better distinction between trail head path/parking and campsite like group A site does. Group campsite A is allowed to have 15+ cars for day use, but group site B is not allowed more than 9 apparently, even though there is room for way more cars than that. Our camp host was the sweetest thing ever. She came out to guide us to group A site in the dark and pouring rain. Thank-you! We came from MN, beautiful area.
