This spectacular riverside cabin is located on the upper side of Sacramento River in Castella, California, 12 miles south of Mount Shasta and four miles south of Dunsmuir and can accommodate up to six guests. It was built around 1904 with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed with an attached bathroom that features a toilet, a sink, a shower, and claw foot bathtub. The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed, and there’s more sleeping space with the double-size roll-a-way bed and sofa. The second bathroom features a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Linens and towels are provided. In the living room, guests will find a sofa, armchairs, and the coziest and inviting environment provided by the wood burning stone fireplace. There are also plenty of books and games available to read or play on the new HDTV, with a Nintendo Gamecube console and DVD player. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a stove, a refrigerator, a microwave oven, a coffeemaker, a toaster, basic cooking utensils and a dining table. Other amenities include Wi-Fi available only for basic use, a washer and dryer (glampers must bring their own detergent), a hair dryer and an iron and board set. Outside, there is a deck with patio furniture, a picnic table and barbecue area, an outdoor grill, and large lawn slopes down to the river. There’s also plenty of parking space off street. This cabin has a large deck with patio furniture from where glampers can enjoy the wildlife of the area that sometimes drops by for a visit.
