Sparrow Bend River Retreat

Vintage Riverfront Camper on Spring We had such a lovely stay! The campsite had everything we needed — cookware, fridge, clean showers and bathrooms, and beautiful views all around. We arrived late at night during a storm, so a small light or sign would’ve made finding our way easier, and a wagon for our gear was not available as mentioned. Not taking any points off though — it’s a great, family and dog-friendly spot, and we can’t wait to come back for a longer stay with our dog next time!

We stayed in early April at Forest site 2 on a rainy weekend, and still had a great time! Restrooms/showers were clean, air conditioned, and accessible. Our campsite was clean but minimal. An old picnic table and fire pit was provided. Our tent set up was very sheltered from the wine in the forest spot. Highly recommend for a campsite.

Reservé la cabaña "Avecita" por una noche para pasarla en familia, si bien el precio no es el más accesible, vale la pena vivir la experiencia, el río está a unos pasos y pude disfrutarlo bastante junto con mi hija pequeña. Por la noche te sientes muy seguro y el lugar cuenta con todas las comodidades, incluyendo abundante agua caliente y un aire acondicionado que funciona muy bien y no es ruidoso. La cocina está muy bien equipada, hay juegos de mesa y el internet funcionó muy bien, de repente se reiniciaba pero volvía rápidamente. El último tramo del camino no está pavimentado pero se transit…
