The property was originally constructed in 1948, and is rich with period character, while still featuring many handy, modern amenities. Guests at this cottage can truly disconnect from everyday life, as there is no television, radio, or telephone, so it’s a perfect opportunity to spend some quality time with friends, family, and four-legged companions. The cottage will comfortably accommodate up to nine glampers. There are six bedrooms, one on the first floor, and five on the second floor. In total, there are two double beds and five single beds. All of the bedrooms are beautifully decorated, and in keeping with the period of the property, maintaining the enchanting, traditional ambiance. The cottage includes three bathrooms, which means that there’s no shortage of space for everyone to freshen up, ready for the day ahead. Two of the bathrooms have showers, and the third features a bath tub, for long, relaxing soaks, after a busy day of exploring this fantastic region. Inside, the cottage has knotted wood-paneled walls, hardwood floors, and vaulted ceilings. The living area is warm and inviting, with comfortable seating space for everyone to chat and enjoy some downtime. A corner sofa can be found next to the window, and a plump, leather sofa and two armchairs are positioned in front of the hearth. The focal point is an attractive, red-brick fireplace, ideal for chilly evenings. Next to the living area is a grand dining room, which boasts a hand-crafted eight-foot banquet table. With space for 10 people and incredible views of the water, there’s no better place to enjoy long, sociable family meals. A charming country-style kitchen, with bright, white counters, provides a welcoming and enjoyable place to prepare meals. There are many handy, modern gadgets, such as a fridge, a freezer, an oven, a coffee maker, a microwave, and a toaster. The host has provided all the dishes and utensils guests will need to whip up a delicious feast, and the dishwasher will help with the cleaning up. Outside, the cottage is nestled among the tall trees and has a spacious private decking area. Guests can relax on the comfy patio chairs while drinking in the spectacular views of the bustling harbor below. Guests can take advantage of some fantastic facilities at this great glamping site. There's a WiFi signal in several areas on the site, for those who need to stay connected. The site has its own dock area, with boats available to rent, including rowing boats and sailing boats. Guests who bring their own boats can rent a mooring or a space at the dock. For children, there is a fun rope swing feature, and also an on-site beach, ideal for families. The property includes a grassy lawn area, for all guests to enjoy, with a view of the harbor, and patio furniture. For convenience, a coin-operated laundry facility is available for washing and drying clothes, and towels and linens are provided, with the benefit of an exchange service during the stay.
