Southlake RV Park Knoxville

They only get one star because ZERO wasn’t an option. The majority of the sites are permanent sites and have very questionable residents. The first person we saw at one of the permanent sites was obviously high on something. We were supposed to have a full hook up site and arrived to only water and electric. Ordinarily we can deal with that just fine but we had a medical appointment the next morning and were not going to be able to get showers without full hookup. We have stayed there a couple of times. It is a older but nice campground the staff was helpful and the bathouses are clean. It is close to UT and down town bit out far enough to be out of the city. There are a lot of full timers and it is tight for any larger rigs but you can get around. We had a 36' towing a car and made it fine. If you are along the lake I think A9 or A10 area the sewer lift station nearby can smell at times. Overall a good convent place to stay.

Just visiting during day..... clean restroom/shower house with good size and clean laundry room. Seemed about 2/3 full park. Was quiet when there during day.

Fantastic Location and Views, But Sites Have Their Challenges Actual Rating 3.75 Stars, better than 3 Star Park but just shy of 4 Stars. We chose Southlake RV Park for a recent trip to visit our daughter at the University of Tennessee, and the location was absolutely perfect for that. Its proximity to downtown and the campus is a major plus. The highlight of our stay was the view from our spot (A-10), which looked directly out onto the beautiful lake.
