We needed a place to stay for at least a week at a time as we were selling our house fairly near here, so the rate we got was a weekly rate. This is a well maintained RV park with mostly long term residents but we did not have an issue getting a spot. We were here for 2 weeks in July and again for 2 weeks in September. Very friendly staff and residents. The showers and laundry are well maintained as well as the park as a whole. Picked this over a closer county park because we felt safer here and and also because the park store is great with reasonable prices. One of the best features is that i…
Review for store only: I love to take my kids to Veteran’s park to cool off, this is our go to for snacks & drinks. We LOVE Steve’s hot smoked cheese and salmon, and they sell both! We tried the pizza and a burger..it was very mid…but edible. Gas station style food. Good selection of convenience store items. Nice staff and quick service!
