We stayed at this great campground in April 2026. The staff were so pleasant and helpful. The campground bathrooms/showers and laundry were spotless. I would highly recommend.
Smokey Bear campground was fantastic! A great location close to the Smokey Mountains and Dollywood, yet outside of the city crowds of Gatlinburg. Every place you want to visit is within 10 miles of the campground. The owner (Patrick) is really nice and keeps an eye on things creating a very nice clean and quiet campground. I would definitely stay there again. Just an added note, Gatlinburg is a totally crowded tourist town with Ripley's, Margaritaville, bars, retail gift shops, arcades and more pancake restaurants than I've ever seen in one place...if you're into that.
Great campsites! This was our second time in Gatlinburg, but first time at this campground. Everything was very clean, sites are large and private, we were tent camping. Bathrooms were immaculate and the hot tub was open when we visited in April. Love the recommendations for local attractions including hikes and scenic drives. Cannot recommend this place enough, can't wait to return.
Awesome camping facility! Clear ameneties, super friendly staff, great location. Will be back! Thank you Smoky Bear Camprground for a great weekend!
