Be Wary During my and my girlfriend's camping trip in mid September Friday-Saturday, we got HARRASSED!! While driving to our tent site there were a couple of things that I noticed: A camper across from us was staring us down, and we were the only non-white people there. (only two of us). We got there around 5pm. While checking out our tent site, there was a “Lawn Watering Schedule” posted on a tree. It was scheduled for Monday-Friday at 1am, 2:30am, and 4am for our site. In the middle of the night, I heard the sprinkler and thought it was weird that it was on because it was Saturday . I eventu…
The staff was very helpful, especially because we accidentally booked the wrong location and they came down after hours to help us get everything sorted out. The facilities were very clean and well kept. 100% would recommend staying here!
Got a spot with private hot tub. Glad we did, because hot tubs were not open as expected. Not a lot of privacy. Never was able to find codes for restrooms, but we had a camper, so it wasn't as much of an issue. Still, a shower would have been nice. We had full hookups. Nice view of Lake. Maintenance man was quite helpful. I can see where this place would be very popular in summer. We were glad to be there in the shoulder season. Birds were AMAZING, but very loud. Sensitive sleepers might be inconvenienced, but this country gal was not bothered.
