This is the most beautiful park! Perfectly maintained, many lovely trails,even horse trails! I met Katherine, a ranger there, she was so helpful and knowledgeable! She takes pride in what she does, and she should! Sky meadows is heaven on earth!
Best maintained and marked trails I’ve been to in Northern Virginia, super friendly staff very dog friendly, went on a day with a “stars and guitars” event. Seems like a great place to camp, and the surrounding area off 17 in wine country and the villages like Paris and Upperville are super clever.
