Silver Dragon Ranch

I would have mixed feelings about recommending this site to a friend because it would depend on what that person is looking for. It’s a beautiful piece of property and the host was very nice, flexible with our arrival time, and gave us privacy. This site is perfect if you are looking for a simple good ,old fashioned, camping on the top of a mountain experience.

David was kind enough to accommodate me during the busy Memorial Day weekend. The site was clean, quiet, and out-of-the-way. Very amenable host near great mountain bike/ATV trails.

Really hard to find in the dark. It seems the camping spot was double booked and there isn’t any room for additional vehicles. A high clearance vehicle should be highly recommended.

This is a unique place. It takes a bit of effort to get there but well worth it. Great views, solitude and a wonderful host.

David's land was the perfect place for our first camping trip together! His property is beautiful and David is an excellent host! We got to share a few meals and chat about his farm, history, and more. He is communicative, attentive, helpful, and overall great company! The view of the stars from his property were breathtaking and you could really feel like you're away from the hustle & bustle of life. Nice and private camping spot. Water was available but there were no toilet. I wish that the host had told me before that the cannabis wasn’t going on this year. The lake nearby was nice too to beat the heat. Would come back.
