Sheridan / Big Horn Mountains KOA Journey

Booked the prairie wagon for a unique stay to celebrate our anniversary. It was awesome. The covered wagon had all the amenities,and there is a private bath house. The staff was great, very accommodating Would definitely stay here again. Brett & Carleen Davis

This has to be one of the most enjoyable campgrounds in the area. So much to see and do nearby - bike/walking trails leave directly from the campground exit and extend nearly 8 miles all the way to the other end of Sheridan - passing parks, historic sites, coffee shops, and other interesting places. A short drive will put you into the BigHorn mountains where adventure and beauty abound. September & October is an amazing time to visit with the changing seasons, fall colors, and fewer crowds. There are even some incredible mountain bike trails within a short drive for beginners up to experts…

Although too early in the season to experience some of the extra things on the campground, the staybwas great. There was a misunderstanding with check out times and we were charged for an extra night. But the manager was very pleasant to work with and made sure we were taken care of. Would highly recommend!
