Unfortunately was there to get away from city life, my job construction, and to feel the magic of the state park i donate too. Unfortunately, non stop construction, hearing a wood chipper at 745am is not fun. Especially on my birthday. We actually left early. Regular staff was friendly, not their fault. But food Unfortunately wasn't good for price paid..dont get the stake!!!! . note pizza is bomb though. And multiple maintenance issues that could really hurt people. The experience wasn't all bad but when you take off work and have to hear work it really sucks. Didn't have this issue with salt …
Great place. Beware of the hills they are brutal
Park is beautiful, beds comfortable in cabinet. Floors not clean, very dirty in corners and by the cabinets, and water heater area in cabinet could see cob webs by base cabinet doors. Was shocked when we found an envelope left by cleaning crew wanting a tip. Bath shower stall bottom seal cut short and hanging so floor gets soaked when showering and no water pressure to shower head.
