We loved Karen and Ralph's hospitality, the cabins are super clean with very nice details. With special paintings on the walls and European furniture. We loved our stay there and will definitely will make this one of our destinations every year.

Karen was a lovely and thoughtful host. The property and cabins are beautiful. We were in the Dragonfly, celebrating my birthday. Plenty of baked goods were provided as well as recommendations of things to do.

What an exceptional place to stay! The owners, Karen and Ralph, are genuinely warm and gracious, and their attention to detail is evident throughout. We spent three nights in the Dragonfly Cabin, which was an ideal base for exploring. The Skyline Drive, local wineries, and caverns are all within easy reach, offering a great balance of peaceful retreat and convenience. My wife and I were recently married at Shadow Mountain Escape and the accommodations and hospitality shown far exceeded our expectations! The owners Karen and Ralph made us feel right at home from the start and the picturesque landscape was simply beautiful.
